DAirTech’s Air Handling Units are complete packaged units for cooling and ventilation, or cooling, ventilation and heating applications. Outdoor or Indoor Air Handling Units are available with cooling coil only, cooling and heating coils, or cooling coil and gas fired heating. Air Handling Units can incorporate air intake plenum section, return air section, air mixing section and economizer section. Each section is also equipped with air intake dampers, and flat or v-bank air filters. The unit is also available with an air discharge section with either a horizontal, up-blast or down-blast discharge. Features common to all Air Handling Units are structural steel channel base, galvanized steel housing, access doors, high density fiberglass insulation, high efficiency blower motors, and externally mounted and wired electrical enclosures. DAirTech’s standard AHU’s range from 4,000 cfm to 46,000 cfm and special units could be built up to 120,000 cfm. In contrast to standard commercial Air Handlers DAirTech’s each unit is custom designed to meet the particular application and specific requirements of the project.
• BlowerBlower section is available with a choice of either centrifugal DWDI or Plenum type blower. The blower wheels are available in forward curve, backward inclined or airfoil blades. All backward inclined and airfoil blowers bear the ACMA seal. Blowers mounted on spring type vibration isolators with seismic restraints. Blowers are connected to the unit with flexible duct connectors. All blower Motors are NEMA design B with class F insulation High Efficiency or Premium Efficiency, open drip proof type or totally enclosed fan cooled type. • Coils DAirTech’s offers a variety of coils available to meet every application. Both 1/2” and 5/8” coils are available for Chilled water, Hot water and Direct Expansion applications. A 1” outside diameter Steam Distributing coil can be selected for heating applications. All coils are rated in accordance with ARI 410 as manufactured by Heatcraft, and available with galvanized or stainless steel casing with aluminum, copper or phenolic coated fins. • Mixing Box and Economizer section The mixing box section typically combines the incoming outdoor air with recirculated return air collected from the occupied space, and is commonly included in air handler’s design to improve the mixture of outdoor and recirculated return airflow. Economizer section, with return air blower, provides a path for return air to be exhausted, allowing the system to provide natural, non-mechanical cooling when outdoor air conditions are suitable. Both Mixing Box and Economizer section are offered with a variety of low-leakage, high efficiency air control dampers, back-draft dampers for exhaust air and could be equipped with air intake/exhaust hoods or intake/exhaust louvers. •Filters A wide variety of medium and high efficiency filtration systems can be mounted in any position, including pre-filters and final filters. Two and four inch pre-filters are available. Final filters include Rigid, Multi-pocket (bag filters) pleated and HEPA filters for special applications. Other special filtration systems, including carbon, electrostatic, are also available. DAirTech’s Air Handling Equipment line includes Air Handlers with cooling coils and Indirect Fired Gas Heaters for outdoor or indoor applications. A choice of, high performance, Gravity and Power Vented heaters are offered for outdoor Air Handling units, and Separated Combustion or Gravity Vented heaters are offered for indoor installation units. All heaters are certified by American Gas Association and bear C.S.A. label, as manufactured by “Reznor” or “Sterling”. |
